“I have been active my whole life. After injuring both of my shoulders during my collegiate swimming career, I realized how important it was to have trainers and a gym who cared about more than just my athletic ability on paper.
After joining RISE and learning how to perform movements correctly, I quickly realized how much I truly loved exercising for my physical and mental health outside of being on a sports team. I am in the best shape of my life, and I am stronger than ever.I recently had someone ask me what my hobbies were.
After thinking about it for quite some time, the only answer I could come up with was exercising. It sounded silly when I said it out loud. However, with an outpouring of encouragement from many people around me, I realized I could use my love for exercise to help others find the same enjoyment I do. I have made so many wonderful friendships and connections through RISE.
My sincerest hope is to set a great example for my family and those around me of what an active lifestyle looks like, and the many benefits exercise has brought and continues to bring to my life.”
